Meridian

About Meridian

Meridian is a free, fast, no-account-required calendar that shows public holidays across 45 countries in one timeline. It was built for people who plan work, meetings, launches, or travel across regions and want a single view that respects every country's actual day off.

Why this exists

Most online calendars either list one country at a time, or pile everything into a confusing global feed. Meridian sits between those: pick the regions that matter for your team, and see overlap, conflicts, and clean meeting days at a glance. No sign-up, no analytics-driven guesswork — just the dates.

How the data is built

Every country in Meridian is sourced directly from an official government page (labour ministries, presidential gazettes, national archives, central banks). We list each source on the Sources page so you can verify any date yourself.

Some holidays — especially Islamic holidays that follow the Hijri calendar and depend on local moon sightings — can shift by a day from the date a government announces in advance. Those are marked (est.) in the calendar. We update them as soon as the official confirmation is published.

What's included

What's not (yet)

Meridian currently covers 2026 only. The 2027 update is in progress — when you scroll past December 2026 in the app, you'll see a "Coming soon" notice. Some regions also have sub-national or state-level holidays (German Länder, US state days, Malaysian state holidays) that we don't yet include — only federal/national-level dates are shown.
